Advanced Technology & Materials Co., Ltd. (AT&M) was mainly initiated by the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute and co-founded by the other five partners including Tsinghua Unisplendor (Group) Corp. The registered office of the company is in Zhongguancun Science & Technology Park, Beijing. After the examination and approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, AT&M issued 60 million A-shares on Shenzhen Stock Exchange in May 2000. By the end of 2001, the registered capital of the company amounted to RMB244.16 million.
AT&M boasts 950 staff, among whom 46% are technical staff with bachelor or higher degrees, including two academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 30 doctors and post doctors, 120 masters and 289 bachelors. The rich human resources lay a firm foundation for the long-term development of the company. Based on the solid technical strength, soon after its establishment, AT&M successfully passed the certification of High-Tech Enterprise directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences. AT&M passed the certification of ISO9001 quality system in 2001. As a high-tech enterprise engaged in the development, manufacturing and selling of new technologies and materials, AT&M provides products for the sectors including aeronautics, astronautics, information, telecommunication, electric power, electronics, metallurgical machinery, petrochemical industry, energy, transportation, biomedicine and environmental protection. |
