Truly Semiconductors Ltd, fully subsidiary company of Truly Holding International Limited, was established in 1991 with the headquarter office at Hong Kong and all manufacturing facility at beautiful seashore city - Shanwei, Guang Dong Province.
The company equips with three state-of-the art liquid crystal display (LCD) and touch panel production lines together with two fully automated module assembly lines. The products range from TN, STN, FSTN, DSTN, CSTN, TFT, OLED, special feature displays and the modules. With the huge demand from the customers, Truly is planning to double the existing capacity in 2005 by adding production facilities for both panel and module products. The factories occupy 1 00,000 square meters gross space and 40,000 square meters floor area and have o ver 3500 employees which composed of 120 managers, 400 engineers and around 3000 workers.
Truly Semiconductors Ltd has long anticipated on the next generation flat panel technology-organic light emitting diode (OLED). OLED is well-known emissive display technology for this high power efficiency, fast response time and its thi ckness . Huge advantages have been identified for the excellent candidate for the portable devices, the company obtained the license from Kodak Eastman, set up the R&D and pilot production facility in 2003 and now the full color OLED module had been shipped t o customer.
